1) Teen Leadership Conference (TLC) – June 6-11, 2017
Guided by encouraging adult mentors, youth participants select from five leadership groups (worship, music, drama, small-group or recreation) in which to work throughout the week to plan and implement the conference activities. Finding our strengths is a journey that can lead to serving right where God needs us most. At Mo-TLC, we invite youth to seek out their gifts and to be creative in utilizing them throughout all areas of worship. Whether it be through singing, studying, praying or playing, we are Christ’s disciples, reflecting God’s love in all we do. Mo-TLC is open to youth who have completed 9th grade through those who have just graduated from high school. Registration per church is limited to five youth and their sponsors.
The cost is $490.00 per participant, and the balance is Due to Mo Ranch by 4/13/17. Click here for more info.
2) Mo Youth Celebration – June 25-30, 2017
Youth Celebration is a conference for youth who have completed 9-12th grades. This conference begins on Sunday evening with the “Big Hello” and closes with the “Big Goodbye” on Friday morning. Each day is filled with time with the keynote speaker, small groups, free time, Back Home Group time and recreation events. Small Groups are a key feature of this conference providing youth with a chance to build community with people from other churches. In small groups, youth are guided by adult leaders who facilitate building community, Bible study and discussions on matters of faith and life.
The cost is $480.00-495.00 per participant (depending on room choices), and the balance is due 4/27/17. Click here for more info.
3) Mo Jr. High Jubilee – July 2-6, 2017
During Jr. High Jubilee, junior high youth who have completed 6th-8th grade, come to be inspired to grow in their faith by learning and living the words and deeds of our Lord Jesus Christ. The 2017 JHJ Theme is “Be “U-nique”. Conference leadership will focus on the story of Saul on the Road to Damascus, and how he decided to break away from what was expected to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
*Please note: For those interested in participating, parents may write a check payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church, indicate which conference they want in the memo line, and WPC will send payment to Mo-Ranch. Scholarship is available for students who demonstrate a need for payment assistance. WPC intends on partnering with both University Presbyterian and First Presbyterian Youth on these conferences.
