Vacation Bible School (VBS @ WPC) – July 30-August 3, 2018
We have teamed up with an after-VBS sports camp to offer a full-day camp during our VBS week. The VBS theme for this year is Rolling River Rampage – it’s going to be fun Bible-filled time with our VBS friends! (VBS is for children going into K – 5th grades, and there is childcare for younger children of volunteers.) Find out more and register here for this year’s VBS + Triumph Sports Camp!
Beginning in 3rd grade, Westminster children and youth are eligible to join the acolyte ministry. Our acolytes process in with the “Light, Water, and Word” each Sunday morning at the 11 a.m. worship service as visible reminders of God’s presence with us when we worship. If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, please contact our acolyte coordinator, David Vanden Bout.

Elementary Almost Lock-in’s
Every quarter Westminster hosts Friday night Almost Lock-ins from 5-9 p.m. for children ages 5 – Fifth grade. We have dinner together, do crafts, and usually watch a movie so parents can have a night out. Remember to bring your sleeping bag!
Westminster’s Passages Program
Westminster marks the development of a child’s faith using our Passages Program. As children grow from babies to confirmation, children develop their ability to recognize God’s good gifts in their lives. We mark this growth in worship using the Passages program. We present first graders with books written by some of our members about worship. These explain the parts of our worship service and unique features of our worship space. We present third graders with their own Bible. We present fifth graders with the Presbyterian hymnal. Please contact Charlotte Trafton if you are interested in including your child in the Passages program.
