Vacation Bible School (VBS @ WPC)

Come join us for a week during summer vacation as we engage in God’s word through play, music, and crafts centered around a theme each year. We hold VBS @ WPC during the first week of August.  Thanks to all who joined us this year!

Godly Play

Every Sunday except for Communion Sunday, after the “Passing of the Peace” at the 11 a.m. service, children between the ages of three and five are invited to Room 14 for a time of age-appropriate worship called “Godly Play.”  Godly Play is led by parents and other volunteers, and is available September through May.

Westminster Children’s Choir  (Grades 1-5)

The Children’s Choir rehearses 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Sunday evenings in Room 14 under the direction of Shaunna Shandro.  The children sing monthly during an 11 a.m. service, as well as during special worship services.

Acolytes

Beginning in 3rd grade, Westminster children and youth are eligible to join the acolyte ministry. Our acolytes process in with the “Light, Water, and Word” each Sunday morning at the 11 a.m. worship service as visible reminders of God’s presence with us when we worship.  If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, please contact our acolyte coordinator, David Vanden Bout.
