Westminster Study Groups

Can’t hear God through the cell phone, kids, and endless static of life? Join us starting in February on Thursday mornings (February 2nd – March 2nd) from 10:30AM – 12:30PM in the Westminster church library.  Childcare is offered for younger babes or preschoolers.  We will be doing a 5 week study of local author Jen Hatmaker’s “Tune In: A Modern Girl’s Bible Study” where we hope to learn different ways God speaks to us and how we can simply “tune in” more! (LINK TO BOOK HERE)  The study is open to mothers outside of WPC as well, so please feel free to share.

WPC BOOK CLUB – February 23rd 7-8 p.m.

“Isaac’s Storm” by Erik Larson

September 8, 1900, the seaside town of Galveston, Texas experiences strange deep-sea swells and peculiar winds. Mere hours later, Galveston found itself submerged in a hurricane that completely destroyed the town and killed over six thousand people in what remains the greatest natural disaster in American history. This is a true story of what can happen when “human arrogance meets the great uncontrollable force of nature.”

Please join us on February 23rd, 7pm, WPC library to discuss this part of our Texas history. If you have any questions, please, contact Suzie Williams.
