Let’s Talk About Jesus
January 20, 2019
“For two thousand years, Jesus Christ has stood at the center of Christian faith. Yet interpretations of Jesus—who he is, how he saves—are nearly as varied as the churches that confess him as Lord. This class explores three pivotal periods in the history of interpreting Jesus and asks what they might continue to offer us as we seek to follow Jesus today.” Classes are led by friend of WPC, David Jensen. The second class will be held in Fellowship Hall on Jan. 20 and will focus on: Medieval and Reformation Portrayals of Jesus: Christ our Mother, Christ the Savior.
