Now you can join Lesley Fields and others virtually at 12:15 p.m. via Zoom video call! Look for the link via this week’s newsletter. For those who cannot join the zoom call, but would like to “pray in place,” you can download the prayers here.
Instructions for Zoom:
- Smart phone or tablet: You can download the free Zoom app on your phone or tablet and use it for free without an account. Before the meeting, you will receive an email from the meeting host with a link to the video call. When you click the link it will automatically open the app, and just like that, you’ll be video chatting!
- Desktop or laptop computer: Before the meeting, you will receive an email from the meeting host with a link to the video call. When you click the link, it will open a tab in your internet browser. The first time you join a meeting from your computer, you may need to click “download and run Zoom” at the bottom right of your screen, or “run Zoom,” depending on what kind of browser you’re using. Then you’ll need to allow Zoom to use your computer’s camera and microphone.
- Any kind of phone: You can also use Zoom as if it were a classic conference call system. Before the meeting you will receive an email with a phone number to call and a meeting ID to enter into your phone when prompted. Then you will be connected to the meeting by audio only.
If you’re having trouble using Zoom, please reach out to Pastor Ellen or Ann Tucker, our office administrator.
