Scripture: Isaiah 49:1-7; Psalm 40:1-11; 1 Corinthians 1:1-9

The normal worship schedule consists of 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.  Following the 8:30 a.m. service, all are welcome to Morning Manna in Fellowship Hall, a time for food and fellowship for all ages. Our education hour for all ages begins at 9:50 a.m.

After the 11:00 a.m. service, everyone is invited for refreshments in the Library to visit with members and meet visitors and guests. Church Elders are available following this service to provide information for visitors and receive new members.

Regardless of the service you attend, you’ll find a welcoming group of people gathered to praise and glorify God.

The 8:30 a.m. service is less formal and communion is served each week. The 11:00 a.m. service is traditional and communion is served the first Sunday of each month.

Special worship services are also held throughout the liturgical year. During Lent, Holy Week and Easter, Advent, Christmas, and other special days of the year, services unique to each season are offered. Additional special services, including our coveted Youth Sunday and the joyful and song-filled Gospel Brunch, are offered periodically.

Regardless of the service you attend, you’ll find a welcoming group of people gathered to praise and glorify God through scripture, proclamation of the word, music, and prayer; who leave the worship service forgiven, renewed, and recommitted to living their lives in gratitude and service to Jesus Christ.

*During the summer months, WPC offers one worship service at 10:00 a.m.  A summer Bible Study class also meets at 8:30 a.m. in Room 9.
