Christmas Benevolence Gift
An anonymous donor has invited us to look around us and see the needs of families and individuals in crisis in the Austin area and to act to meet those needs. The intention of the donor’s gift is to reimburse each member up to $350 as an encouragement to invest ourselves in helping others.
The primary requirement is that you be personally involved in helping someone in need in the Austin area, someone whose needs aren’t being met elsewhere. We are invited to use our time, interest, and money and receive the joy of giving.
- Identify someone in the Austin area who has substantial needs not already being met by helping agencies.
- Decide what you can do. The church can reimburse you for up to $350 of what you spend for gifts of food, clothing, toys, or other goods/services deemed appropriate.
- All gifts should be made in the name of the church, calling attention to God’s goodness and love shown to us.
- Complete the following form and upload a photo of your receipt in order to be reimbursed up to $350. Even if you would not like to be reimbursed, please fill out the form so that we have a record of the generosity generated by this program. If you would prefer to return your form by mail, please contact the church office.
