Legacy giving ensures the long-term sustainability of Westminster Presbyterian Church and its ministries and mission. Through Legacy Gifts, the church can continue its ministry for future generations.
Legacy Gifts support our endowments and gifts can be made through a one-time gift, annual giving, or through an estate plan. There are several endowment funds:
1. The Legacy Fund is a general fund endowment that provides unrestricted support. The proceeds generated from this endowment help fund the overall ministry of the church on an annual basis.
2. Mission Endowment provides annual support to mission projects of the church.
3. Youth Endowment provides annual support to youth programming of the church.
Supporting the endowment allows members to leave a lasting impact that reflects their values during their lifetime. You can make an estate gift by naming the church as a beneficiary in your will or trust, life income agreement, (e.g., charitable gift annuity or pooled income fund), charitable trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, or life estate. Immediate gifts can also be made with appreciated securities, retirement funds, real estate, or other assets.
